About the Author

Matthew Wood has been writing ever since the day his Year 4 teacher told him to put down the Non-fiction books and start reading fiction – because he has a talent for writing it. Since then he has written short stories galore, runs a Sci-Fi role playing website and is adding the finishing touches to his first novel.

In his spare time he enjoys Flight Simulators, Reading everything from Tom Clancy to Orson Scott Card  and watching quality movies.  He lives with his wife, two children and pet alien named ‘Andy’.

If you enjoyed reading ‘The Day the Sun Died’ or would simply like to know more about what Matthew and the other things he is working on, feel free to get in touch with him either by Email, through his Facebook page (link below) or by leaving a comment. He will do his best to respond to your questions as quickly as possible.

  1. Hi Matthew – I heard that you’re putting together a December blog hop for authors; could you tell me more about it and how I could participate?

  3. Love the blog (and especially the stories!), ever thought of making it into a book? I”ll try and get into the story, but I’d have to read it from the beginning (I’m a slow reader) – though from what I’ve read it’s well worth it!

Could you take a look at it’s similar to this, in that I publish a story ever Saturday to a wordpress website, but they’re unrelated shorts. You might also want to leave a request 🙂
